A course designed to introduce composers and performers interested in composition to film scoring, through studio work with one of the field's most prominent practitioners. By the end of the course, students will be able to score a short film using a sequencing platform and one of the standard notation programs. Prerequisites: Theory II and permission of the instructor. This course may be used to satisfy the 21st Century Proficiencies (Composition/Arranging) requirement for Bachelors of Music students.
