Production Practicum
College of Performing Arts: Coll of Performing Arts
CRN: 16016
Credits: 0 TO 1
This course focuses on theater production and the opportunities available within that field of the performing arts. Students are placed in production roles that will allow them to work directly with College of Performing Arts production staff. Each student will have an assigned department and spend each week with that team learning technical skills and how each production element operates within the context of the greater art of theater production. The Drama School expects that the student will act as a vital component of the production team and build upon the skills of collaboration, exploration, and professionalism. Drama offers students the opportunities to hone and refine these skills in a formally professional environment while maintaining the support of an educational institution.
