Explore the bold, physical world of Commedia dell’Arte—a wild, improvised comic form born in the Italian Renaissance and still alive in today’s comedy. Unlock your inner clown and discover new dimensions of freedom in performance. Explore spontaneity, play, and ensemble creation in a culminating performance at Tischman Auditorium on March 25. Break through inhibition and harness the power of the mask to ignite your comic voice. This course can fulfill the Drama BFA Performance & Project Elective, or the MFA CTP Project requirement.
