The Stone Workshops at The New School, Curated by John Zorn, is a series of half-day residencies held throughout the semester. Workshops will be curated by performer/composer John Zorn – who will collaborate with each guest artist to design their class. Guest Artists will present their own custom-designed programs drawing from a range of activities including master classes, lecture-demonstrations, open discussions, performances, one-on-one sessions, and more. Previous guests have included Laurie Anderson, Terry Riley, Claire Chase, Bill Frisell, Pat Metheny, Matthias Pintscher, Dave Douglas, and more. Guests scheduled for Spring 2023 include Jesse Harris, Immanuel Wilkins, Eliza Bagg and Yura Lee.
