This group is devoted to the translation and discussion of philosophical texts in German. The course is suitable for all students who wish to prepare for the German language exam in the philosophy department or who simply want to practice and improve their proficiency in reading philosophical German. Texts are usually selected from concurrently offered seminars, and recent readings have been from Kant, Hegel, Husserl, and Heidegger.
