This course will serve as a broad introduction to the philosophy of Wittgenstein, with emphasis on his later writings. In addition to discussing major primary texts, we will discuss the reception of Wittgenstein's philosophy and it's continuing importance today for research in different areas of philosophy, above all, social philosophy.
