In this course, we will read Plato’s major dialogues and discuss their interpretations by, and influence on, Hegel, Heidegger, Hannah Arendt, and Derrida. The readings will include Plato’s Phaedo, Timaeus, Phaedrus, Republic (in part), and the Seventh Letter.
