This seminar will pursue a close, detailed reading of Friedrich Nietzsche's Also Sprach Zarathustra. While our aim will be to develop an immanent reading of the text, we will also pay attention to its relation to Nietzsche's work as a whole, as well as to its role in his intellectual development.
