This course is an introductory survey of the psychological, biological, and sociological models of Substance Use Disorders. It is a required course for those individuals who wish to obtain an MA with a Concentration in the Treatment of Substance Use and Other Addictive Behaviors (CTSAB). This course provides 75 clock hours of NYSOASAS-approved CASAC training. Prerequisite for Lang juniors and seniors: LPSY 2008 Fundamentals of Abnormal Psychology w/ "C" grade, or better.
