Counseling Center Testing Supervision
New School for Social Research: Psychology
CRN: 4390
This course is for clinical psychology doctoral students in their second year of training. Students gain applied practice in neuropsychological and psycho-diagnostic testing with adults. Students will have the opportunity to complete two to three full battery assessments through the academic year. Supervision will follow students through the process of comprehensive assessment: clarifying referral questions, collecting of background information including collateral contact, test selection, administration, scoring, data analysis and interpretation, report writing, case presentation, providing recommendations and therapeutic feedback.
