MHSAC ExternshipTo supplement training and supervision for the optional clinical externship in the 2nd year of the Concentration in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling (CMHSAC) in the MA in Psychology, this required seminar provides an opportunity to meet with CMHSAC faculty to discuss emerging challenges in working at their clinical placements.  Student clinicians have the opportunity to learn from one another and faculty as they assume their new roles in counseling clients who misuse substances.  Students may present individual and group case material and discuss dilemmas posed by working in an agency setting.  This is a two-semester course.
