Earth Wind & Fire is a band whose music spans the genres of jazz, R&B, soul, funk, disco, pop, Latin and Afro-pop. They are among the best-selling bands of all time. The band was formed in Chicago by Maurice White in 1969. Earth, Wind & Fire is known for its kalimba sound, dynamic horn section, energetic and elaborate stage shows, incredible vocals and vocal harmonies. In this ensemble the singers and the instrumentalists will work together as a band to explore the music, the style and the sound of Earth, Wind & Fire. Emphasis will placed on musical groove, vocal delivery, song interpretation, stage presence, ability to lead and communicate with the band and background singing.
