Graduate section. In this course, students will explore the relationship between music and visual media, and the impact of scoring and sound design on visual storytelling. Through a study of scoring techniques, analysis of narrative structure, practical projects, and industry talks by special guests, students will gain a deeper understanding of how music enhances narrative, evokes emotion, and creates immersive experiences in film and television, streaming media and advertising, virtual reality and video games.
