A production course with equal emphasis upon conceptual and practical concerns, exploring composition, lighting, and camera movement, as well as the intent and meaning behind moving image making today. Studying the techniques of noted cinematographers, we will complete regular exercises, as well as a final project that emphasizes cinematic and narrative techniques.
