This is a class in performance, story-telling, mise-en-scene, and dramaturgy using, as its point of departure, the poems and plays of Wallace Stevens. We will collectively write and stage a play to be performed at the end of the semester. Anyone who does not feel comfortable performing in front of an audience should NOT take this class. Instructor permission is required and will be based on videotaped auditions.
