Taught By: Rebecca Stenn
This in-person hybrid studio-seminar course, taught by Rebecca Stenn, develops and reflects upon performance skills through rehearsals and performances of a new performance work created collaboratively for and with students, by a professional choreographer. Students are exposed to a process of choreographic research, from the preliminary stages through performance. Performance practice in the studio will be complemented with reading, viewing, and writing assignments. Previous dance experience or permission of the instructor are required. Space is limited and priority is given to dance majors and minors. This course meets in Tishman Auditorium with appropriate safety protocols in effect, including mandatory social distancing and mask-wearing at all times.
