The aim of this seminar is to provide an overview of different strands of feminist philosophy. We will proceed through an analysis of the different waves of feminism: from liberal to Marxist feminism, anarchafeminism, difference feminism, queer feminism, ecofeminism and post- and decolonial feminism. Topics to be explored include, among others: the division between private and public sphere, care work and the division between productive and reproductive labor, the politics of the body, the intersection between race, gender and class, performativity, narrative and identity.
