Here Come the Robots
Eugene Lang College Lib Arts: Philosophy

I probably could have written a passable version of this course description using ChatGPT. This raises the question of what would be lost, or gained, if I did, and, more generally, how humans fit into our technology-suffused world. Do recent rapid advances in AI and robotics represent an existential threat to humanity? Or are they simply yet another way in which technology expands what it is to be human? These are some of the many questions in the philosophy of technology that we will discuss in this course.
