What is psychedelic medicine? Does it work, and if so, how? This seminar explores the growing field of psychedelic medicine and its potential as a mental health intervention. We will examine finding from clinical trials, investigate mechanisms of psychedelic-induced change, and critically evaluate methodological approaches and challenges in psychedelic research. * Prerequisite: One Lang fundamentals course, or ULEC 2160, Introduction to Psychology with a grade C or higher.
