A required intensive for Screen Studies majors, to master the basics of shooting and editing. The course is modeled on the real-world workflow of filmmaking, where students will shoot and edit projects collaboratively, and where each successive project will advance in complexity. The basics of sound recording and producing are also integral to the course. This course can be waived with effective demonstration of necessary skill sets including competence editing in Premiere Pro and proficiency filming with DSLR cameras.
