This hands-on personal documentary production course will involve the making of weekly short non-fiction films documenting your own lives. Each assignment will involve a prompt of some kind: make a film about your father, make a film about your love life, etc. Instructor permission is required and will be based on videotaped auditions. What I am looking for in the auditions is honesty, vulnerability, and a sense of how to engage a viewer.
