This course invites Culture & Media and Screen Studies graduating Seniors to work on their Senior Capstone requirement inside of a seminar setting with an emphasis upon the pre-production of a moving image project (open to all genres and modes), or the completion of a short film or screen-based project if graduating in the fall. Students are encouraged to take this course and continue with their projects in a Senior Seminar or Independent Study in the spring. It is strongly recommended that students complete both Editing and Cinematography (taken spring 2025 or prior) or Screen Foundations (taken fall 2025 or later) or have demonstrably commensurate experience prior to applying for this course. NOTE: This course is open to Seniors in Screen Studies and Culture & Media only. You must submit an application (posted during registration), and receive approval from the instructor in order to register for this course, which is held in tandem with LCSR 4900 for crediting purposes.
