We next study market structures, technological innovations, market failures, and public policies. Finally, we analyze labor markets, income distribution, and poverty. Throughout, we discuss case studies, such as the Microsoft antitrust case, deregulation of the telecom industry, and the debate about the effects of raising the national minimum wage.
