ESL 1750: ACL is a high- intermediate listening, speaking and vocabulary class. The goal of this student-centered ESL class is to provide you with the opportunity to improve your listening, speaking, and critical thinking skills as well as learn key vocabulary words that have come into American culture from the worlds of art, culture, and design. In this class you will listen to/watch authentic materials (movies, interviews, etc.) and learn how to describe, analyze and critique important visual texts such as photographs, ads and other images that reflect American Culture.)

Open to: Parsons undergraduate and AAS degree students who have tested into NELP 1700 & 1750 on the placement exam or have completed NELP 1600 & 1650. Co-requisite: NELP 1700, ESL 1700 High Intermediate.
