This course is designed to develop your analytical skills in identifying key aspects of the media's role in global politics, examining how this role has evolved, and critically assessing the media as an independent political actor. You will also explore the global media industry through insights from media professionals and activists, including public diplomacy broadcasters, social media influencers, and surveys of U.S. media coverage across different regions (e.g., Latin America, Africa, Asia).
