Introduces and expands beyond core concepts, aesthetics, and practices of digital film production. Topics include cinematic language, composition, production planning, camera operation, exposure principles, lenses, lighting, sound recording, audio design, editing and an appreciation for diverse modes of filmic expression. Coursework will consist of individual and collaborative exercises and projects designed to hone technical craft and refine a personal aesthetics and voice.

Open to all graduate degree students. Upper-level undergraduate degree students with permission from the program. Some seats reserved for MA Media Studies majors.
