This course develops a framework for evidence-based decision making in the context of policy and management. It is a case-based curriculum, where students learn cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness analysis and how to write and present their findings in various formats. NURP 6002 is a required course for all Urban Policy Analysis and Management students and usually taken in the first semester. For Urban Policy Analysis and Management graduate students, it is part of a three-semester sequence that includes Urban Policy Lab and Advanced Seminar. NURP 6002 is also a requirement for Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management graduate students taking the Policy Concentration. (Offered Fall Term only.)

This course counts as an elective course for the Graduate Minor in Impact Entrepreneurship.
