This course will help students build and refine their portfolios to a professional level and learn the process of preparing for life after school. Students will learn best practices in all aspects of professional work. Students will be challenged to use all their knowledge in the domains of typography and interaction to present work in an articulate manner both in print and online, culminating in the development of a professional portfolio website that builds upon their previous work and interests. The research and investigations undertaken as a part of the portfolio process will help prepare students for Core 3 Capstone. Please note this will count as an equivalent for PAGD 1030 Portfolio & Process.

Open to: Associates Degree in Communication Design students only. Pre-requisite: (PACD 1100 Core 1: Typography + PACD 1110 Core 1: Interaction) or (PAGD 1040 Graphic Design 1 + PAGD 1060 Typography 1 + PAGD 1091 Interactive/Web Design).
