In Drawing for Interiors 1: 2D, students will learn the drafting fundamentals of orthographic representation, including plan, elevation, and section drawings, which are essential for interior designers. This course also introduces accurate surveying and documentation of spaces. Students will be introduced to AutoCAD and gain basic skills in presentation software, with demonstrations on Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. This class meets twice a week.

Open to: Associate degree in Interior Design majors; others by permission of the Interior Design program. Co-requisite: PAID 1211: Drawing Interiors: 3D
