This course introduces the fundamental principles of interior design, focusing on key aspects such as spatial organization, circulation, scale, light, and color. Students will explore the vocabulary of interior design to understand how these elements come together to shape interior environments. Historical design methods will be examined to provide context and insight into contemporary practices. Coursework includes readings, discussions, analysis, and studio design projects that allow students to apply these principles in practical design scenarios.
