This course examines the integration of structural mechanical and architectural systems in complex buildings. Buildings that wed inventive technical systems with formal innovations are used as case studies. Construction systems discussed included post and beam, frame and platform, wood and steel, load-bearing masonry walls concrete frame.

Open to: Masters Degree in Architecture Majors and Masters Degree in Architecture and Lighting Design Dual Degree Majors Only; Others by permission.
