This course serves as an introduction to both the MFA Fashion Design & Society program and a new setting for incoming students. The course draws upon diverse areas of research and helps familiarize students to New York City, Parsons, and the MFA studio, alongside their peers. The course coincides with New York Fashion Week; field trips will interlace the city and its rich association with the world of fashion.
