Fashion Presentation
Spring 2025
Taught By: Faculty TBA
Section: A

This course will hone and improve the ability to research within the fashion industry. The starting point of a designer’s fashion research has its uniqueness suddenly at risk. Using the Internet, a researcher has almost immediate access to multiple sources. Therefore an original fashion object, given access, becomes increasingly unique and important. This course will facilitate learning, using archives, thrift stores, and personal wardrobes, as a means to deepen critical understanding of the skills and methods relevant to the study of fashion, and both visual and material culture.
