This course will explore curatorial approaches in the field of fashion in the museum and beyond. With a focus on practical problems and solutions, student will engage in a series of case studies and competitive fashion exhibition planning exercises over the course of the semester. Real world examples will allow students to consider the aesthetic, technical, and bureaucratic challenges involved in mounting a contemporary fashion exhibition.

Open to: Masters degree in Fashion Studies majors, other graduate students as space permits.
