This course is designed to equip students with advanced experimental research methods at the intersection of art, design, and social sciences. Through a careful and structured progression, the course lays the groundwork with systems thinking and analytical frameworks, paving the way for an in-depth exploration of expanded forms of ethnography, as well as exploratory and participatory methods in art and design. By engaging in practical exercises with diverse media forms and techniques, students cultivate a comprehensive skill set to effectively generate, analyze, and synthesize research findings. This preparation enables students from different backgrounds to investigate complex situations and relationships, ultimately leading them to develop a transdisciplinary praxis.
