We will learn JavaScript properly. Then, we will learn useful design patterns. Then we will pick up useful tools to understand the modern world of coding. Over the years, JavaScript has become a very flexible and expressive language and has been widely adapted by the programming community to create very powerful applications, beyond the web. It is also the perfect language for the web designer to be introduced to coding. This course will be an introduction to JavaScript and will aim to teach programming concepts using real world situations. It will introduce Javascript through modern coding patterns and APIs, popular frameworks like React and prototype applications like simple Blockchains and Pattern recognition, The student will be able to create standards-compliant modules using established development workflows by the end of the course.
