Making + Meaning 1: Proseminar, each week, students will either be assigned a reading published by a faculty affiliated with the Design History and Practice BFA program, or asked to consider a project by an invited architect, designer or artist. Either the reading or the project will be paired with an article or project from the wider design or art world. Guest lecturers from Parsons BFA programs as well as Parsons’ School of Art and Design, History and Technology and Eugene Lang College for the Liberal Arts will introduce you to department faculty, as well as relevant faculty from around the university.
