This course provides students with a practical foundation for the continued development of their individual research practices and their careers post-graduation. Students seek out and complete external learning experiences, such as internships or other hands-on learning engagements. Students also find opportunities to generate original data using research tools such as interviews and surveys, in support of their summer semester capstone projects. Finally, students network with external practitioners to identify and to pursue potential professional opportunities. Internships and projects can be identified using The New School’s Career Services (HireNew and career fairs) or The New School Network. All combined, students will continue to gain knowledge, insights, experience, and skills, for roles and opportunities in the fashion or fashion-related industries.

Open to: MPS Fashion Management students only. On Campus program students should register for a lettered section (A, B, C...) and Online program students should register for a X-numbered section (X1, X2...).
