In this course, we will explore diverse lighting techniques and gain an overview of DSLR cameras, digital workflow, image production, and creative photographic practices. Through hands-on demonstrations and in-class problem solving, we will develop both the technical and creative skills needed to work with lighting and camera equipment. We will complete technical assignments to light and capture portraits and products/accessories using ambient, continuous, and off-camera flash. We will also be introduced to Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Adobe Mobile Apps, building a foundation of essential tools for image making.
