This is an inquiry led drawing course open to students of all levels of drawing experience. This course will utilize drawing for knowledge building around each student's areas of interest while also supporting the development of each individual’s art or design practice. Theories of learning will support this approach to drawing for critical practice. Explorations through semiotics, representation, and storytelling are among the many routes students will use drawing to support their research and discovery. To progress each student's drawing explorations, the course will review traditional drawing methodologies, emerging tools and technologies and historical and contemporary practices.
