Digital Asset Creation: 3D is a foundational course that offers a deep dive into the 3D modeling and production process. Throughout the course, students develop a comprehensive skill set, including 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, rendering, compositing, and post-processing—key components of the creative 3D pipeline used in both commercial and independent settings. Structured as a sequence of online sessions, the course blends lectures, workshops, presentations, and studio-based projects to provide a holistic learning experience. This broad introduction to 3D tools and techniques equips students with the fundamental knowledge and practical experience needed to advance their own concept-driven creative projects, producing 3D assets applicable to animation, motion design, game design, VR/XR, and more.

Digital Asset Creation: 3D is one of BFADT’s foundation digital production courses. In this online course, students will obtain a complete production pipeline that enables them to create, manage, and export 3D assets for their own creative endeavors such as game, UX/UI components, 3D model textures, motion graphics, or graphic elements for data visualization. Students will learn 3D designs, low polygon 3D modeling, rigging, animation techniques, and digital asset management from expert illustrators who have vast knowledge and experience in working with interactive digital media. The goal of this course is not to teach students how to 3D modeling but to give students a set of tools and methods that will grow with them as their modeling skill continue to mature.
