This course examines how designers can use the methods and visual tools of design to enable public issues, social causes, and organizations to effectively create awareness and impact. Drawing upon past learning in typography and interaction, students will adopt an iterative approach to strategically address issues of audience, participation, behavior, and culture through the use of visual form and media.

Pre-requisite(s): PUCD 2130 Advanced Typography, or PSAM 2070 Editorial Concepts, or PACD 1100 Core 1: Typography, or (PAGD 1140 Digital Layout + PAGD 1060 Typography 1.)
