Identity Design

Spring 2020

Taught By: Michael Robinson

Section: A

CRN: 2853

Credits: 3

Identity design is the process of creating and disseminating the image and voice for a collective entity, such as a company or an institution. A company's logo is only one of many of critical symbols that define public perception: as information and ideas travel in increasingly compact formats, the identity designer is challenged to express information quickly and with certainty. This course pushes beyond the student's previous experience towards professional skills and practices for identity design.
