In this intermediate-level studio, students will explore the culture of experimental animation and produce original short works. Building upon the skills learned in the introductory animation courses students will test complex ideas of motion, timing, writing, editing, sound design, storytelling and the uses of material. Screenings and discussions will cover animated works from the history of experimental animation.

Open to: All university undergraduate degree students. Some seats reserved for Illustration students. Pre-requisite: PSAM 2301 Intro to Animation or PUIL 2116 Core Studio 4D.
