In this advanced studio we will have the opportunity to participate in communication design projects like those found in the work-world by partnering with the Parsons Dean's Office and the department of Marketing and Communications within The New School. Students will work to address client needs, coordinate with other creative and production team members, and meet established goals and time-lines. Through a series of independent and collaborative university projects, this course will serve as a laboratory for experimental design applications. Final projects may explore emergent platforms, hypothetical concepts and practices in the service of future institutional needs or external opportunities.
