In this engaging and hands on introductory course, students will begin to explore the art and craft of weaving. Participants will explore the fundamental techniques of weaving through the lenses of structure, color, and texture, gaining a solid understanding of loom operation, yarn selection, and the weaving process. Students will gain an understanding of the weaving process, from creating a warp through threading and finishing techniques. Through a combination of theoretical discussions and practical, hands-on exercises, students will develop the skills necessary to create their own woven masterpieces.
