AI Strategic Creativity and Management
Parsons School of Design: School of Design Strategies
CRN: 18202
Credits: 3
As generative AI makes content faster and cheaper to produce, brands and creative organizations increasingly converge on sameness. Working with top industry executives, this half-semester elective asks students to identify that convergence and develop the human capabilities that create strategic distinction: judgment, taste, authentic voice, and decisive leadership. Drawing on technology cycles, brand strategy, and practitioner cases from consumer goods, retail, media, and entertainment, students will evaluate human- and agent-facing audiences, critique AI-enabled brand work, and build a future brief that articulates a differentiated point of view for a chosen industry, brand, or creative domain.
