Global Leadership Lab: Leading Transformation
Parsons School of Design: School of Design Strategies
CRN: 16993
Credits: 3
This one-week intensive invites students to reimagine leadership as a living, relational practice rather than a role to perform. In a world unraveling in visible and invisible ways, we will explore leadership as a process of unlearning and relearning by listening deeply, adapting with humility, and making meaning together. Through dialogue, movement, creative exercises, reflection, and collective inquiry, students will engage with perspectives too often marginalized in dominant leadership models. Drawing from adaptive leadership, Indigenous, Black, and feminist wisdoms, systems thinking, and embodied methods, each day unfolds as a provocation: to dismantle myths of control, hold space for complexity, and cultivate reciprocity and interdependence. This lab is for students ready to step into transformation with integrity and imagination, and to develop the relational and systemic capacities needed to navigate uncertainty and lead responsibly toward more just, regenerative futures.
