External Projects: vveave X Parsons SIF Competition supports twelve students chosen as finalists in the vveave X Parsons Size Inclusion in Fashion (SIF) Lab X Retail Partner competition. Through research, iterative design processes and 3D prototyping, students will develop patterns and toiles, and fabricate one look (1-3 garments) in preparation for the competition. Specific skills in plus size fashion design and production, including patternmaking, design, and fitting, will be taught via a series of supplementary workshops. Students will also support each other through the production process and learn the concepts of grading and tech pack preparation.
