This course is an introduction to photography as a visual language and will teach students the technique, aesthetics and theory of photography through a variety of assignments, readings, and lectures. The course focuses primarily on working with analog media and darkroom techniques. Students are encouraged to experiment with different modes of photography and are required to create a final project based on individual interests.
